Old Parsonage

A three night stay at The Old Parsonage

A three night stay at The Old Parsonage

We’ve had lots of guests who booked to stay with us for two nights and wished they’d stayed longer.  So, we thought we’d put together a little suggested itinerary for what you might do when staying with us for three nights.

Day 1

When you arrive, we’ll welcome you with a lovely pot of tea or coffee and some home made cake, which you can take in our conservatory, our garden or your room.

After we’ve settled you in you might want to spend the rest of the day visiting our beautiful harbour, perhaps taking the coastal path down into the village and eating in one of the local pubs or restaurants.  Depending on the day of the week and time of year there are often singing groups or musicians playing in the evening.

Day 2

After a great night’s sleep and a hearty breakfast a lot of our guests are looking forward to walking to Tintagel to take in the views on the coastal path and to visit King Arthur’s castle or Merlin’s cave.  Some guests take the bus from Boscastle to Tintagel and walk back or walk to Tintagel and get the bus back.  Of course, if you are not feeling that energetic there are plenty of delightful shorter walks in or around Boscastle.

In the evening if you haven’t booked a restaurant we will happily suggest some places for you to eat, either in the village or a little further afield.

Day 3

After another hearty breakfast or perhaps one of our lighter breakfast specials you could visit one of the beautiful houses and gardens in the local area. Lanhydrock, Cotehele and Pencarrow are all within easy driving distance. Or if you want to visit a local town or village then you might want to take a trip to Port Isaac, Padstow, Bude or Tavistock.

Of course,  if you fancy some seaside action and perhaps a dip in the sea, there are plenty of great beaches within a short drive of Boscastle.  Widemouth Bay has a lovely beach as does Bude and there are plenty of smaller sandy coves like Trebarwith Strand & Bossiney Haven.

Again, in the evening if you haven’t booked a restaurant we will happily suggest some places for you to eat.

Day 4

After your last breakfast with us we’ll say goodbye.  Hopefully you’ll be well rested with batteries suitably recharged after getting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life for a few days.

So why not turn your two night stay into a three night mini-break!

If you book via our website or by phone we reduce our standard room rate by £5.00 per night for a three night stay.
